What happens after I submit my funding application?

One of Bay Eleven’s funding partners will contact you within one business day to learn about your specific needs and walk you through the best loan options.

How long will it take to get my loan?

For approved borrowers with lower leveraged loans, it typically takes about three days to two weeks from the time you submit your application to the time your funds are released. For borrowers with more complex projects, it will take a week to 30 days.

What credit score do I need to be approved for real estate construction financing?

Our lending partners prefer to work with investors who have FICO scores of 650 and up. If your credit score is below 600, we suggest finding a co-investor with a higher credit score.

What else will help my chances during the application process?

You should be ready to provide a documented history of your experience with residential real estate projects, as you’ll be able to secure better rates for financing if you’ve had a lot of past experience with similar projects. Lenders will also want to know that you’ll have enough cash on hand to complete the construction project once you’re funded.

Can I pay off my loan early? Are there any prepayment penalties?

Yes, you can pay off your loan early. Some loans may have prepayment penalties, so please refer to your loan agreement or contact our support team for specific details.

I’m based outside the United States. Can I use Bay Eleven for real estate financing?

No. We provide real estate funding for United States-based projects only.

Is it a deal-breaker if I’ve declared bankruptcy or had a foreclosure in the past?

Not always. Our lenders will want to know when any past bankruptcies or foreclosures took place, and what the circumstances were. You may still qualify if the bankruptcy or foreclosure was 5+ years ago.
